Tears As UNN Looses One Of Its Notable Icon

OYOGist.com has learned that the University Of Nigeria Nsuka has loosed one of its notable icon to the cold hands of death. The deceased who is known as Prof Ijomah and also the First SUG of the university has been reported dead.

Prof. Ijomah was the first SUG President at University of Nigeria, Nsukka from 1960 – 1961, He was the first President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association, Nsukka, and the first President of the National Alumni Association of the University of Nigeria.

Prof. Ijomah is an incurable quantitative researcher in Sociology, and has carried out a number of field works.

As an activist, Prof. Ijomah was the first president of Student Union at University of Nigeria Nsukka from 1960 – 1961, he was the first National Vice-President of the National Union of Nigerian Students (NUNS), he is a live member of NUNS since 1962.

He was the first President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association, Nsukka, and the first President of the National Alumni Association of the University of Nigeria.

Prof Ijomah is a leader per excellence. He attracted former sociology Departmental building which was named after him_ Prof BIC Ijomah center for policy and research; it’s Center later had the most popular and intellectual conference on witchcraft which went viral late last year.

His impact in Nigeria would be missed by all and he would also be missed by the university management including his family.
