OYOGist.com has learned that the general overseer of the popular Pentecostal church, Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, earlier this afternoon took to his Twitter account to rebuke people who have been questioning why the Anglican Church banned the use of the same cup for communion due to the viral spread of the Coronavirus.
Recall that two days ago, the Anglican communion joined the train of many foreign churches to ban the use of a common cup for the sharing of communion during services, due to the widespread of the Coronavirus which has refused to be contained since it’s outbreak in December, 2019.
And so following this announcement, many Nigerians have questioned whether the said act was biblical, stating that it was rather a show of faithlessness in the God who can heal all diseases.
Reacting to this arguments, Apostle Johnson Suleman stated that these people were being unrealistic and that God is not against precautionary measures:
Anglican church stops communion from one cup because of the corona virus..and people are asking them if christ can’t heal..why are people so unrealistic? Galatians 6.7 God is not mocked. Prov 4.7.wisdom is the principal thing..God is not against precautionary measures
