Gbemisola Saraki, sister to the acclaimed political juggernaut of Kwara politics and demystified erstwhile Senate President, Bukola Saraki is said to have reconciled her differences with her brother amidst plans to relaunch a renaissance for her father’s crumbled dynasty.

This is coming on the back of the imbroglio that has almost torn apart Kwara APC as the different factions within the party continue to fight for its leadership.

This is coming on the back of the imbroglio that has almost torn apart Kwara APC as the different factions within the party continue to fight for its leadership.

Gbemisola Saraki is taking advantage of the political skirmishes within the ranks of the party that rode to power last May on popular demand by Kwarans regardless of their creed and ethno-religious affiliations because of the pervasive corruption and abuse of office by the previous administrations.

Now, Gbemi Saraki is in connivance with her Minister colleague, Alh. Lai Mohammed who is plotting the failure of the present administration under Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and ensuring Kwara is handed over to Bukola Saraki who was rejected by the people of Kwara just over ten months ago and Lai Mohammed under an already fine tuned sharing formula. The politics is tense such that they are already romancing with the opposition party, PDP in Kwara.

Gbemisola Saraki appears to be more concerned with her family remaining in the mainstream media and political space, irrespective of how that happens than advancing the cause of change echoed in the state, a mass movement under which she currently benefits. There is high indication that Bukola Saraki will defect back to the APC, with his sister already fronting for him among the key players at the national level.

Bukola Saraki as part of the agreement reached with his sister has handed over the political structure to Gbemisola and fused his media team with hers to now be called GRS-Oloye (GRS – Gbemisola Saraki, Oloye – Bukola Saraki adopted after his father) movement as plans to revive their father’s dynasty is now in top gear.
