The organizer of the protest to release Sowore at the office of the State Security Service, Deji Adeyanju who was brutalized by thugs allegedly mobilized by the SSS.
Deji Adeyanju has made a statement regarding how he was treated by the State Police for organizing a protest against the continued detention of the #RevolutionNow crusader Sowore – before the government finally set him free.
Recall that Adeyanju was hospitalized after he was manhandled by thugs and had to be flown abroad for comprehensive treatment as a result of injuries he sustained.
“The SSS behind my attack.” Deji Adeyanju shared on social media site, Twitter.
“After they failed with their gunpoint bribing strategy, they decided to finish me up by contracting thugs & miscreants. They contracted one Ali from Kano who sub contracted the tout that led the thugs who attacked me.” He said.
“They hired same people to protest at Sowore’s court & had planned same attack on Sowore if his rearrest was unsuccessful. The leadership of this SSS is the worst in the history of Nigeria. That is why ordinary gathering intelligence on prevention of Boko Haram has become a mirage.” Deji Adeyanju concluded in his tweet.
It is unclear if Deji Adeyanju is now completely healed from his injuries. Both the SSS and the government are yet to make a statement on what transpired at the protest and led to Adeyanju sustaining injuries.
