Lionel Messi has reached an agreement on a two-year contract with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) over a transfer to the French soccer club, Oyogist.com reports.
Lionel Messi agreed with the PSG on a two-year deal worth £25m a year plus bonuses with option of a third year and a £25m signing on fee.
He is due to arrive in Paris in the coming hours.
Barcelona’s contract with Messi had ended recently as the club were unable to fulfil a new contract that had been agreed with the player due to “financial and structural obstacles”.
Messi, the 34-year-old record goalscorer for both Argentina and Barcelona, is one of the greatest players of all time.
