Oyogist.com has learnt that Oyo State former Commissioner of Police, Yomi Onashile has died of COVID-19 complications today January 30, 2021 at the Ibadan State isolation centre.
Onashile was said to have developed Covid-19 symptoms since on the 24th of January and was admitted at the COVID-19 Isolation Centre since then.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the retired police commissioner’s death.
