Oyogist.com has learnt that the Kano State Governor has lauded former Super Eagles captain and Leicester striker, Ahmed Musa, for building a N500 million sports and fitness centre from scratch to finish in Hotoro GRA, Kano.
Ganduje who was represented by the chairman, Kano state Sports Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, commissioned the sports centre and thanked Ahmed Musa for investing massively in sports development.
“I am so excited and elated over this wonderful edifice built by Musa for the development of sports in Kano and Nigeria.
“Ahmed Musa has to be celebrated. He has made us to understand that our players need to make investment that will touch the lives of others. This place is an ideal place for aging people and even the younger ones to keep themselves fit.
“We thank Ahmed Musa and we hope that this kind of structure will not only be in Kano alone. We urge him and other Nigerian players to do more of this kind of investment for Kano, the North and Nigeria.” he said.
