Oyogist.com has learnt Joe Pearl has claimed to be in a relationship with a popular Nigerian musician, Burnaboy despite the musician relationship with Stefflon Don is very known to the media.
Burnaboy who was recently nominated for the Best Global Music Award in the 2020 Grammy Award.
Oyogist.com gathered that Burnaboy approached Joe pearl few years ago, when he sent her a DM on her Instagram page.
A Twitter user(@bluegirltolu) explained how Burnaboy approached Joe Pearl in a series of tweets.
The tweet reads: “Burna boy sent her a DM her on Instagram, she did not want to reply him at first, but after her friends persuaded her she did, they Vibed and fell in love with each other, he told her so many sweet things, like “You are my Jollof, “I’ll still marry you” and it made Joe pearl feel special”
“Fast forward to December 2018, Burna had come to Nigeria because of his concert and upcoming shows that month, so he left Joe pearl ….. she was sad but Burna told her sweet words as usual that made her feel special. She believed those sweet words but deep down she knew things won’t be the same after that leave to Nigeria.”
“They still kept in touch for few days but eventually after a while it became hard for her to get in touch with Burna. After a while she saw Burna and stefflon don’s relationship speculating all over social media, she broke down and cried for weeks.”
“Eventually Burna got in touch with her and told her he has been sick and that he misses her, but at that time she was in Lagos already But I think Joe pearl and burna did not meet face to face when she was in Lagos, but eventually they met when they both got back to London”
“When she met Burna, he made her feel special as usual … she did not even bring up the matter about his relationship with stefflon Don”
Fast forward two years later, Joe pearl said that she is not doing this for clout but she just wants people to know how she feels about the whole issue with Burnaboy, She knows you guys might call her a side chick but she doesn’t care because she still loves Burna regardless”
