Reports reaching Oyogist.com Shows that Legal Practitioners, who were obliged to reunite immigrant children with their Parents, now believes that the number of separated children are now 666.
20 percent,of these children were under 5 years at the time of the separation, due to President Trump administration policy.
The lead attorney for reuniting these children, Steven Herzog, has explained that the number is so high due to the fact that “the government did not provide any phone number.”
Previously, the lawyers said they could not find the parents of 545 children after they had tried to make contact but had been unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, President-elect Joe Biden has said his administration would establish a government task force that would work to reunite all migrant children with their parents.
