Author and Lawyer Reno Omokri has unearthed surprising facts about himself as he asserted that he aided in planning for the overthrow of the Late Nigerian Military Head of State and tyrant, General Sani Abacha, oyogist.com reports.
This came in after Reno Omokri who was the Special Assistant to the Presidency during the Goodluck Jonathan administration was queried by a fan on why he hates the BBNaija show and always implores the youths to desists from watching it, as he Reno Omokri probably might have watched the show when he was a youth.
It can be recalled that Reno Omokri who is the Chief Campaigner of the #FreeLeahSharibu and also a staunch critic of the Muhammadu Buhari administration, has been using his several Social media pages to preach the gospel of Christ. Reno is also well noted for his unrivaled activism as he does preach against Injustice, Killings, Violence, Political brouhaha, and also condemns the Big Brother Naija Show, which he said is full of immorality and not educating.
However, Reno on a tweet while addressing to those claims from some BBNaija fans that he probably watched the show during his youthful days, further revealed that he never did so, rather, at the age of 23 he’s already planning for the Overthrow of General Sani Abacha who was regarded as a dictator and a ruthless military head of state during his regime.
According to Reno on the Tweet asserted that he received several hot slaps from the Nigerian Police while he was busy dropping Anti – Abacha leaflets around. In the throwback picture she posted, Reno was spotted standing beside Beko Kuti, a Nigerian Doctor and a Sibling to the Legendary Singer Fela Kuti , notable for his human rights activism during his days.
