Police brutality and abuse of power among the police force is still very much alive in Nigeria today.
In the video below, you’ll see how two police officers were treating a young man whose offense is yet to be established in an effort to make an arrest.
People were gathered around and the officers were trying to make an arrest. However, the young man was on his back with his legs up in the air, and handcuffs locked on one leg while an officer tries to force his leg down and connect his hand to the same handcuffs on his leg.
