OYOGist.com has learned that the Abia State Police Command have allegedly declared a Police Sergeant, Chinatu Onyema, wanted. Chinatu Onyema shot two people dead in Abia State last week. Since the incident, Chinatu has been on the run. Sergeant Chinatu Onyema hails from Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
He was declared wanted by the police command for the murder of Ifeanyi Chidi Kalu and Izunna David Enyinnaya in Aba. Abia State police command notified the general public that Sergeant Chinatu Oyema formerly attached to the Department of Operations in the state police headquarters, Umuahia has been declared wanted.
The Police Command also placed a 500,000 thousand Naira reward for anyone who has vital information which leads to the arrest of the suspect. The Abia State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede has visited the families of the murdered young men. The police condemned the killing of the young men, but also appealed to youths in the area not to retaliate the killing.
