French authorities have confirmed the death of Daniel Siad, a French model recruiter who spent over a decade introducing young women and aspiring models to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Siad was found dead on Monday at his residence near Paris.
A deputy public prosecutor for the Nanterre Judicial Court verified his death, noting that French law enforcement officers have launched an official investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding his passing.
Decades of Ties to Epstein
For over ten years, Siad acted as a key contact connecting aspiring models with Epstein. In past statements, Siad claimed he believed Epstein worked as a legitimate casting director for high-profile fashion brands and agencies, including Victoria’s Secret.
Even following Epstein’s initial 2008 conviction on sex offences, Siad maintained contact with the late financier, stating in a previous interview with CNN that he trusted Epstein’s assurances that he had reformed.
