Davido secured the highest number of nominations, reaffirming his dominance in the African music scene. Other Nigerian heavyweights, including Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, Rema, Asake, Ayra Starr, BNXN, and Ruger, also earned nominations in various categories, highlighting Nigeria’s continued influence on the continent’s music industry.
The 2026 AFRIMMA nominations feature artistes from across Africa, recognizing excellence in Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-hop, Gospel, and other music genres. Countries such as Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Ivory Coast, and Ethiopia are also well represented in this year’s nominations.
