A devastating case of child abduction in Lagos State has taken an incredibly cruel turn, as a suspected child trafficker reportedly mocked the distraught father of a missing toddler, boasting about selling the child for 1.5 million Naira (₦1.5M).
The harrowing ordeal began when the toddler went missing in Lagos under mysterious circumstances, triggering a desperate search by the parents and local community. However, instead of a ransom demand or an update from law enforcement, the father received a shocking and cold-hearted response from a key suspect linked to the disappearance.
According to exclusive details surrounding the investigation, the suspected trafficker directly confronted or contacted the grieving father. Rather than showing remorse or denying involvement, the suspect allegedly taunted the man, explicitly telling him that the search was futile because the toddler had already been sold into a human trafficking network for ₦1.5 million.
