This commitment was publicly declared during the inauguration of the APC/Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ 14-Federal Constituency tour, which took place at Oba Adeyemi Stadium in Oyo town. The initiative aims to foster party unity and enhance grassroots mobilization throughout the state’s 33 local government areas.
Senator Teslim Folarin Emphasizes Collective Success
Senator Teslim Folarin, the Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, highlighted that the party’s leadership has unanimously decided that the success of President Tinubu’s 2027 campaign must supersede all personal ambitions. He reminded attendees that Tinubu secured a commanding 449,884 votes in Oyo during the 2023 election, marking one of the highest vote counts nationwide.
Building on this momentum, the APC is ambitiously targeting a 35% increase in votes in the upcoming election cycle. “Our mantra is ‘unity before ambition.’ Every aspirant has agreed to set aside their personal goals to ensure we surpass the 2023 results and deliver a decisive victory for President Tinubu,” Folarin stated.
