Sayyadi Ali Dahiru Usman Bauchi, the late scholar’s son, also verified the death in a statement to Daily Trust. He expressed gratitude to Allah for his father’s long and influential life but noted that the family has yet to finalize burial arrangements, as Sheikh Dahiru was in Madinah at the time of his passing.
“It is confirmed that our beloved Sheikh has returned to his Creator. We thank Almighty Allah for granting him a life full of purpose and impact,” he said.
