Amofin Beulah Adeoye Delivers Inspirational Lecture at Chrisland University’s 7th Convocation
At the 7th convocation ceremony of Chrisland University in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Amofin Beulah Adeoye addressed the graduating class with a compelling lecture titled “Breaking New Frontiers: Knowledge, Innovation and Impact.” His message was clear: the 252 graduates must embrace roles as trailblazers, creative thinkers, and solution providers in their respective fields.
Graduation Marks the Beginning of a Purpose-Driven Journey
Amofin Adeoye emphasized that the true journey begins the moment graduates step beyond the convocation hall. He urged them to evaluate their lives by the challenges they overcome, the lives they uplift, and the integrity they maintain even when unobserved. Rather than merely chasing employment or success, he encouraged them to pursue meaningful missions and strive for lasting significance in their communities and beyond.
Excellence and Innovation as Catalysts for Societal Progress
Highlighting the importance of innovation, Adeoye explained that breaking new ground involves applying excellence and creativity to every task. He called on the graduates to consistently add value to their organizations, helping them reach their fullest potential and make a global impact. This responsibility, he noted, extends beyond individual achievement to the advancement of society as a whole.
Chrisland University: A Pillar of Academic and Ethical Excellence
Recognizing the institution’s role, Adeoye praised Chrisland University for its commitment to academic rigor and moral integrity. He lauded Vice Chancellor Prof. Oladunni Sola Arulogun for upholding the visionary standards set by the university’s founder, ensuring that students receive not only knowledge but also character formation.
A Call to Action for the Class of 2025
“The education you have received has equipped you with critical thinking skills,” Adeoye stated. “Now, it is time to act. Graduates of 2025, step forward as pioneers and innovators. Use your intellectual gifts to illuminate the world. Remember, society values the impact you make far more than the certificates you hold. Whatever your role, perform it with professionalism and dedication.”
Honoring Visionary Leadership and Growth
Adeoye also expressed gratitude to the Chancellor, High Chief Winifred Awosika, for her unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Her vision has transformed Chrisland University from a modest beginning with just 57 students to a thriving institution now educating over 1,700 students, reflecting remarkable growth and influence.
