In yet another incident of police high-handedness, a cloth seller was beaten up by a policeman in Ilorin, Kwara state earlier today, Oyogist reports.
The video came as a surprise to many netizens, how some operatives of the Nigerian Police Force forcefully molested the young man.
The unidentified officer in the Viral video, slapped the man, who happens to be a clothe seller after he refused to enter their vehicle.
At the time of writing this report, we can’t say the offence of the young man, but a twitter handler identified as @Tobiloke_ revealed what went wrong in this tweet.
He revealed that the young man, who is a Clothe Seller was harassed and arrested because he was appearing good.
He tweeted:
Police harassment and assault in ilorin is going beyond control how will you arrest clothe sellers because they look good and they started beating them this is so so sad all police department in ilorin we need to put an end to this.
