The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has announced that it would suspend it’s warning strike on Monday, 9th may 2022, Oyogist reports.
The union further stated that it might embark on an indefinite strike action, following the federal government’s refusal to address its needs.
Recall few days ago, Nigeria’s Education minister had apologised for constantly turning a blind eye to ASUU’s demands.
He further disclosed that negotiations between ASUU and federal government would resume, thus bringing hope for a possible suspension of the lingering strike.
