Dr Olusola Ayandele, an All Progressives Congress(APC) chieftain and Senatorial hopeful has picked nomination form ahead of the party’s primaries scheduled to hold in May
Ayandele told newsmen after picking the nomination form in Abuja, that he joined politics to contribute his quota towards nation building.
The Ibarapa-born multi-millionaire businessman and politician was in 2019 a gubernatorial aspirant of the party.
Ayandele popularly called Eruobodo is contesting for APC Senatorial ticket of Oyo South Senatorial District.The renowned socialite cum philanthropist, said his latest efforts at seeking a seat in the National Assembly was borne out of call to service.
“As a philanthropist, I haven’t shy away from our commitment to an egalitarian society. We have always touched lives positively at different occasions.
“As part of efforts in building the nation and its people, I have facilitated jobs for our teeming youths as a means to sustain their livelihood.
“All these I have done without holding elective positions. I an with our people and understand them very well, I know where the shoes pinche and will give my best to solve problems,” he said.The Senatorial hopeful re-emphasised his commitment towards pursuing a special status for Ibadan, which he said was long overdue.He assured the good people of the senatorial District of quality representation, seeking support of party members in the forthcoming primaries.
