Peter Obi, a presidential aspirant under the platform of People Democratic Party), has highlighted series of reasons why south east should produce the next president come 2023, Oyogist reports.
The Ex. Governor of Anambra made this known during a meeting with PDP leaders at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to Mr Obi, for the sake of justice, equity and respect, the next president of Nigeria must come from “Igbo land”.
He advised several leaders and party delegates not to allow money to influence their voting and supports during the election.
Peter Obi was accompanied by Dr Doyin Okupe (former media aide to the former president Goodluck Jonathan).
According to Obi, Nigeria is in crisis, and he (Peter Obi) still remains the only best presidential aspirant to take the country out if it’s present predicament.
He said;
“My commitment is to create a better Nigeria, my desperation is to see Nigeria better than it is today. We can not continue to live like this in our own country”.
