Oyogist has learned that former Nigerian Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili has highlighted series of guidelines for any Nigerian currently stranded in Ukraine to follow in order to ensure a smooth evacuation.
According to her, “if you are Nigerian, got to any Border Control in Poland and were turned back by Polish immigration officials, can you DM a scanned copy of your passport, please?
“Besides the long wait time (estimated as three days for some) at borders, the Polish authorities stated that our citizens are freely allowed entry into Poland and can stay for only 15 days and then leave their territory.
“If you were turned down, please send your passport details, she said Futher.
She added, “Further informed that:“’Nigerian officials from the Embassy in Poland are at the border with transport for Nigerians.
“Once you cross the border from Ukraine into Poland, please shout out to be located.
