According to reports reaching oyogist.com, US President, Joe Biden has stated that Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia has more ‘Larger ambitions’ than Ukraine.
Biden made this known while addressing reporters few hours after Russia launched a Brutal Assault on Ukraine.
Biden also stated that Putin wants to “reestablish the former Soviet Union.
Recall Biden had earlier imposed series of sanctions on russia, promising to impose more in the coming days.
“He (Putin) has much larger ambitions than Ukraine. He wants to, in fact, reestablish the former Soviet Union.
That’s what this is about. And I think that his ambitions are completely contrary to the place where the rest of the world has arrived, Biden said.
Biden however, remained steadfast that sanctions will have an effect on Russian aggression after the country attacked Ukraine.
