Russia may have started a ‘hybrid war’ as banks and the ministry of defence In Ukraine were hit by a cyber attack.
According to sources, the attack was orchestrated by Kremlin-backed hackers.
Major ukrainian banks including PrivatBank and Oschad experienced issues with transactions earlier today following the attack, oyogist reports.
There were also other outages at the Ukrainian Ministry of defence and some of its armed services websites.
The attack came shortly after Russian President, Putin claimed he ‘of course’ doesn’t want war despite massing troops on Ukraine’s border.
