Netflix’s New documentary, ‘The Tinder Swindler’ Tells The Story of Israeli conman, Shimon Hayut

Oyogist has learned that Netflix’s latest documentary, ‘The Tinder Swindler’ tells the story of popular Israeli conman, Shimon Hayut, who allegedly defrauded people.

Hayut was involved in online dating scams, which seems him engaging in some sort of Identify theft.

He steals thousands of dollars from his victims, mostly females, Conning one by one at a time.

According to Toi Staff, a journalist of The Times of Israel, Hayut is a long-career conman who visited prison several times.

Hayut “was imprisoned in Israel after pleading guilty to fraud charges in December 2019.

However, he was later released after serving five months of a 15-month sentence.

Hayut was well known for Charming women with gifts and private jet rides stolen from previous conned women.

“Hayut faked business-related security concerns and asked the woman he was “dating” financial favors with the promise to pay back all the money.

His criminal records begin in 2011, when Hayut was charged in Israel with theft, forgery and fraud, a report by the Israeli times read further.
