According to report reaching oyogist.com, Governor Seyi Makinde has appointed Mr David Aderemi Okediji as the Chairman designate for the newly established Oyo State Audit Service Commission.
Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin announced this Tuesday while reading a letter from Governor Seyi Makinde.
Speaker Ogundoyin said the Oyo State House of Assembly has scheduled Thursday for his screen.
The Governor in the letter requested the approval of the House for the appointment of Mr Okediji as the Chairman for the Audit Service Commission.
The nomination became imperative following the recent passage of the Audit Commission Bill, 2021 by the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The Governor stated that the nominee was being considered because of his good tract records.
The Oyo State Audit Service Commission is established as part of the efforts of the State Government to enhance transparency in Government spendings and expenses.
