A lady yet to be identified was attacked by unknown people under the disguise of fellow passengers along Ikoyi towards Dolphin Estate, Oyogist.com reports.
This was made known by her friend who took to his twitter handle to share her experience.
According to her, They had passed a police checkpoint in the process and while she screamed for help, the police did nothing.
She was attacked with a knife and requested to hand over all her properties which included her 2 phones, debit card and money.
She was able to get the plate number of the vehicle ‘AKD114YA’ and went straight to the police station, the first one claimed they were closed for the day and the Second rather questioned her why she is using two phones.
Though she was able to block her account numbers, it is quite sad what our police system has amounted too.
The high rate of armed robbery reported in Lagos as of recent is quite alarming.
