Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has urged Popular microblogging platform, twitter to suspend Buhari’s twitter handle following the president’s recent order to halt twitter operations in the country, Oyogist reports.
According to Mr Omokri, the suspension of the operations of @Twitter in Nigeria announced earlier today by the Buhari administration is not in keeping with democracy, the rule of law, and the independence of the media.
The former presidential aide Futher urged his followers to demand that twitter removes the president’s Account from the platform.
