According to report reaching oyogist.com, Giga Berlin will be the biggest battery manufacturing facility in the world with as much as 250GWh annual capacity.
It is planned to produce batteries, battery packs, and powertrains for use in Tesla vehicles, in addition to the assembly of the Tesla Model Y.
Construction work begun in June 2020 and production is scheduled to start in late 2021.
