A year after George Floyd was murdered by cops, another black man has been killed by cops in America, OYOgist.com reports.
The 20-year old father was killed by Minnesota cops who pulled him over as he drove. Daunte’s family claimed he was pulled over for having an air fresher in his rear view mirror.
“Police shot him as he reentered his car, claiming he had an outstanding warrant, and he crashed blocks away.”
Protests have erupted over America and even online with the hashtag #Blacklivesmatter. The anger continues to be fueled even by news of Police Chief, Tim Gannon, who told reporters on Monday that Wright’s death occurred after an officer made an “accidental discharge” from her gun, instead of using her intended taser.
President Joe Biden have made a heartfelt tweet on the murder of Daunte Wright.
