According to report reaching oyogist.com, Governor Seyi akinde has commissioned Agodi Bike park and has revealed plans for statewide implementation.
The Governor disclosed this via his verified twitter handle;
He tweeted: “This afternoon, we commissioned the Bike Park at Agodi Gate for use. This pilot project will be replicated all over the state if it works according to the design plan. While we do not plan to ban commercial motorcycles and tricycles, we’ll regulate their operations in Oyo State.”
“I appealed to the riders to get better organised so that they can assist the government in regulating their activities. We will be registering all operators for easier identification, and to curb the menace of motorcycles being used to commit crimes in our state.”
