Boko Haram captive, Leah Sharibu has reportedly given birth to the second child in the captivity of terrorist sect, OYOGist.com has gathered.
OYOGist recalls that Leah Sharibu was abducted from her Dapchi school in Yobe State three years ago, and was forced to accept Islam as her religion while in Boko Haram captivity. Describing her as “heroine christian schoolgirl”, a United States-based group, US-Nigeria Law Group has revealed that Leah Sharibu has been abandoned to her fate, and has given birth to a second child.
In January 2020, reports revealed that Leah Sharibu was forced to accept Islam as her religion and was married off to a Boko Harram commander.
As activists continue to campaign for the release of Leah Sharibu from the captivity of Boko Haram, efforts by the Nigerian government to set her free have yet to produce results.
