PDP stalwart and Special Assistant to both former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has revealed the condition for Igbo Presidency, OYOGist.com has gathered.
The politician claimed that the core North has to forgive the Igbos for the killing of Sarduana of Sokoto that was carried out by the Nigerian soldiers of Igbo extraction in the 1966 Coup.
“A national consensus for Igbo Presidency cannot evolve until the core north forgives the Igbos for the killing of Sardauna of Sokoto by Nigerian soldiers of Igbo extraction in the 1966 Coup.” He tweeted on Saturday.
