Oyogist.com has learnt that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Makurdi Zonal Office has apprehended Victor Chinemerem Ogaraku, for cryptocurrency fraud.
Victor was prosecuted by the Makurdi Zonal Office before Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon.
He was later pronounced guilty and convicted to a fine of N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) and six (6) months imprisonment.
He was also asked to pay the sum of N257,500 to his victim.
