Oyogist.com has learnt that the present chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdurrasheed Bawa, has advised all Nigerian students in both secondary and tertiary institutions to shun all forms of economic and financial crimes and embrace hardwork as the sure way to success.
Bawa who was represented by the Reorientation unit of the Commission, Nwanyinma Okeanu, made the call when students of Prime Scholars’ Secondary School visited the Commission.
Okeanu said;
“This country is yours to build; it is up to us to tell the truth. Our call on you today is to be up and doing; do not involve yourself in cultism, stealing, coming to school late and exam malpractice.
“Hardwork is the only road to success. We should learn to eschew all forms of economic and financial crimes.The youth are the leaders of tomorrow, but how can you be good leaders of tomorrow if you engage in those vices?
“When you study and you write well, you will pass, but when you cheat, you won’t go anywhere. As a youth, you need to understand that your future is in your hands, you need to understand that Nigeria needs you as much as you need Nigeria. He said further.
