Oyogist.com has learnt that a 7 years old girl, named Liza Scott has raised $260,000 approx. 99 Million Naira to finance her brain surgery.
Liza, who intended to lift her family’s burden financially in the aspect of providing adequate funding for the surgery, asked her mother to build her a lemonade stand in their family bakery, where she sold sweet treats and lemonades.
Her story gained attraction worldwide and some generous individuals ended up donating the sum of $260,000 (N98,995,000).
Liza’s surgery is scheduled for today March 4, at the Boston Children’s Hospital.
