Reports reaching OYOGist have revealed that the aide to Kano State Governor Ganduje, Dawisu, who was allegedly arrested by the Department of State Services for criticizing the Buhari-led government has been fired.
Dawisu was reported missing on Friday after chastising the APC government for failing to secure lives of citizens after another set of students were kidnapped in Zamfara.
Dawisu had tweeted that the government should resign after news of the abduction of the 300 students broke.
Shortly after, a source confirmed that Dawisu was indeed in the DSS detention.
Barely 24 hours after the report of his detention came to light, reports filtered out that he has been fired by the Governor.
Multiple sources have reacted to the news of his dismissal as ill-timed, given how committed he was to his boss, the Kano Statw Governor.
