Oyogist.com has learnt that present World number one, Novak Djokovic defeated his Russian challenger Daniil Medvedev in three straight sets 7-5 6-2 6-2 today to win his 9th Australian Open title.
Medvedev victory gave him the Grand spot to claim his 18th Grand Slam title.
Reacting to his victory, Medvedev claimed he had his hoped dashed for a first Grand Slam victory.
