Former Aviation minister and staunch APC critic, Femi Fani Kayode has insisted against rumors in circulation, that he is yet to leave the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) to join the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
OYOGist.com recalls that Mr Kayode, who is a strong critic of the ruling party has held several cross-party meetings and dialogues in recent days with members of the APC.
This has fueled insinuations that he is leaving the opposition party of the ruling APC.
Debunking the rumors, Mr Femi Fani Kayode tweeted, “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP.”
While Mr Kayode has tweeted that he is yet to leave the PDP, his tone, to many is not reassuring enough.
One user tweeted, “From his tone you can be rest assured that he is no longer in PDP… He only forgot to end his statement with ‘Yet’. Because he’s still doing medicals and the move has not been finalized..”
