Oyogist.com has learnt that US President, Joe Biden has instructed for an increase in the weekly supply of COVID-19 vaccine sent to different states in the country by about 16 percent, in order to improve the distribution of vaccines across the country.
The supply of vaccines going to states will increase from 8.6 million to 10 million doses per week, as more doses of the Mordena Covid-19 vaccine would be released.
Also, there would be purchase of an additional 100 million doses each of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, bringing the total amount to 600 million doses.
