According to report reaching oyogist.com, the wife of the embattled FCMB MD, Mrs. Hauwa Adam Nuru, has reportedly debunked rumours of leaving her husband, Nuru Adams, adding that she stands with him.
Adams Nuru, a Managing Director of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), was forced to go on a compilation leave so as to allow an investigation into a sex paternity scandal which involves him and a former female employee of the bank.
Mrs. Hauwa said, “I want to clarify for the avoidance of doubt that I am still very much with my husband. This fake news was published by an online newspaper in a calculated attempt to further demonise my beloved husband and a loving father.
“Let me reiterate that at no time did I contemplate leaving my matrimonial home or filing for divorce as no grounds exist for such.”
She further urged the Nigerian media practitioners to carry out their work in line with the professional ethics of the profession.
