According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Kogi state government has directed all schools in the state to resume the 2020/2021 academic session on Monday, January 18, 2021.
This was made known in a statement released by the Kogi state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Wemi Jones, on Saturday at the state capital Lokoja.
The Commissioner noted that the state government could no longer afford to keep schools shut beyond January 18, 2021, at the expense of the students.
The Commissioner stated that all relevant educational stakeholders in the country should take note of the new development and and act accordingly.
