Financial Times said Tuesday, Dec 22, that Nigeria is that the nation with the very best number of poor people living on but $1.90 a day.
The publication added that Nigeria is in danger of becoming a failed state, following the spate of kidnappings, killings, insecurity and violation of human rights.
The international publication also stated within the article that the Nigerian government has lost control of the country.
Suggesting solutions to Nigeria’s problem, Financial Times said: “President Muhammadu Buhari must seek to draw a line within the sand. He must redouble efforts to urge an edge on security.
He also must restore trust in key institutions, among them the judiciary, the safety services and therefore the electoral commission, which can preside over the 2023 elections.”
