According to report reaching oyogist.com, a pandemonium has reportedly broken out in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, after men of the Nigerian Customs Service fired stray bullets which killed 3 three persons.
It was learned that men of the Nigerian Customs stormed the area early in the morning following a smuggling tip off in the area but on getting there, stray bullets were fired which eventually led to the death of three (3) three persons.
The incident which has now degenerated into a clash between men of the Nigerian Customs and the youths in Ogun state is still yet to be quelled as events have reportedly turned violent.
As at the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Customs Service hasn’t responded to the misconduct of its officers in the affected area.
