According to reports reaching oyogist.com, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has welcomed the release of the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, as a big relief to the nation at large.
While sharing a short remark concerning the release on his official Twitter page, President Buhari expressed appreciation for the steps taken by all involved to make their release possible.
Buhari further cited the “spirit of partnership and the collaborative efforts of the government of Katsina, Zamfara and military leading to the release.”
The President wrote;
“I welcome the release of the kidnapped students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara. This is a huge relief to the entire country & international community. The entire country is grateful to Governor Masari, the Intelligence Agencies, the Military and the Police Force.
“Our administration is fully aware of the responsibility we have to protect the lives and property of all Nigerians. I ask Nigerians to be patient and fair to us as we deal with the challenges of security, the economy, and corruption. We will not relent.” He wrote.
Meanwhile, Oyogist.com further learnt that the abducted boys would undergo medical examinations in the morning, meet with the president, Muhammadu Buhari, and get reunited with their families.
