OYOGist.com has learned that former Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly revealed that he wasn’t given more time to achieve his desired success at Manchester United.
The Portuguese Coach stated that he hopes to stay much longer at Tottenham as he gets the Spurs high in starting the the 2020-21 season.
“In a certain period of my career, with a profile of the club I was getting in hands, we didn’t need as much time to reach success,” Mourinho said as quoted by Goal.
“The first club where I felt I needed time and time was not given was at Manchester United because I felt that I left at the middle of the process, but I learned very early to respect decisions, which I did at United.”
Mourinho also noted that he’s quite enjoying his work at Tottenham noting that he believes the club is also happy working with him as he sees himself staying for a longer period with the Spurs.
“Now, in Tottenham, I know the profile of the job I have in hand, and hopefully until now I am enjoying very, very much to be in the club, I believe that the club is happy to work with me, so I see myself staying for a long time.”
