According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Edo State Police Command has revealed its uncovering of a plot by criminal robbery gangs in the state to rob many economic and financial ventures in the state.
This was made known by the Edo state Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, who noted that the Edo Police Command is ready to tackle any attempt to disrupt the peaceful activities in the state.
According to him, he said; “We have uncovered plans by bandits to attack banks and cause panic in the state. But I can assure you that adequate security has been put in place to ensure there are hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“Already, Armoured Personnel Carriers and other equipment are in place to combat any security breach in the state.”
He also urged members of the public to help and work together with the police in uncovering the crime elements in the country.
