Remi Sonaiya reports a case of police extortion at the entrance of National Assembly

The former presidential candidate for Kowa Party in Nigeria 2015 election and professor of French and Applied Linguistics, Mrs Remo Sonaiya has come to twitter to report a case of police extortion at the front of the National Assembly.

Oyogist.com noted that Mrs Remo Sonaiya posted on her official twitter handle @oluremisonaiya that;

“Racket at the entrance of @nassnigeria! The men at the police post collect ID cards from drivers, saying they’ll be returned when exiting. They demand money before releasing the cards! Just happened to us. ID card still with police. What’s the offence? #Corruption @PoliceNG”
