Ondo Imposes 24 Hour Curfew In Troubled Communities Following Deadly Clash

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Ondo state government has declared a 24 hour curfew in the Ode and Isinigbo communities in Akure North Local Government Area following a deadly clash between both communities.

This was made known by the Ondo state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, while addressing the people of Akure on Friday stated that the Ode and Isinigbo communities have been shut down till further notice.

“For emphasis, both Ode and Isinigbo communities have been closed down for any unauthorised human movement and activity until further notice,” he stated.

The state government also noted that the criminal elements causing troubles and mayhem in the area would be apprehended as soon as possible as a manhunt has been launched by the Ondo state government in collaboration with relevant security agencies.
